Renovation will raise Hotel Riverton to new heights

Hotel Riverton located in the area, Skeppsbron, in central Gothenburg, will undergo a major renovation starting in 2018 that will revitalize the hotels meeting and public spaces. 

Skeppsbron is currently being developed by the City of Gothenburg to become a new central meeting point by the river for the people of Gothenburg. The area, which is expected to be fully expanded by 2025, will include an attractive promenade by the water, 450 new homes and approximately 30,000 square meters of premises for shops, restaurants and offices.

​As Skeppsbron evolves, the hotel will also undergo both external and internal changes where the different buildings that makes up the hotel will be transformed for a more welcoming and cohesive appearance in the cityscape. The project that is planned to start in 2018, will focus on the hotels public spaces such as the lobby, meeting spaces and an expansion of the onsite restaurant and Skybar on the top floor.
