In August 2017 the European equestrian elite competes in Gothenburg.
During an exciting and eventful week, Europe's best equestrian riders and drivers will come to Gothenburg to compete for medals in Jumping, Dressage, Driving and Para-Equestrian Dressage (Dressage for disabled riders).
During an exciting and eventful week, Europe's best equestrian riders and drivers will come to Gothenburg to compete for medals in Jumping, Dressage, Driving and Para-Equestrian Dressage (Dressage for disabled riders).
Competitors from around thirty countries, 590 horses, 4,000 accredited participants and 1000 volunteers will be involved in the event. In addition to the enthusiastic spectators at the event, 70 million people will watch the championships on TV.
All the competitions will be held in the heart of the city - everything within convenient walking distance. Ullevi Stadium will be the main arena for Jumping and Dressage, the Para-Equestrian Dressage, Driving dressage and cone driving competitions will be held at Heden Village. Slottsskogen City Park will be used for the Driving marathon's obstacle course and is a free event to attend.
The event will take place between 21 - 27 August 2017.

Heden Arena: main arena for the Para-Equestrian Dressage, Driving dressage and cone driving competitions. The large exhibition area will offer fantastic shopping for horse lovers as well as plenty of shows, exhibitions and taster activities for the whole family. Free entry all week, open to everybody.
Slottskogen City Park and the city: the exciting Driving events have free entry and will start at Heden Arena with the first two phases; dressage and obstacle cone driving and will finnish with the third phase - a marathon through the city all the way to Slottsskogen City Park.
